Trusted by God to guide her work, Dr. Krystal Cross leads A Chicago Bite with a mission shaped by her years in education and her love for cooking. She created A Chicago Bite to serve people from all over San Antonio and the surrounding communities in Schertz, Cibolo, Selma, Live Oak, Randolph Air Force Base, and Converse. Her goal is to provide guests with a space to meet, share a meal, and enjoy special dishes in a comfortable setting that reflects her Chicago roots.

 

Dr. Cross grew up in Chicago, so the flavors on the menu are rooted in real experience. Guests visit for Chicago-style hot dogs, soul food plates, wings, fresh catfish, and burgers that feel familiar and satisfying. Others appreciate a space that welcomes families with a kids' menu that works for busy days and relaxed meals. Every plate is prepared with care and fresh ingredients.
